Michael Ahuja

Michael Ahuja is Deputy Chief Information Officer of the Visiting Nurse Service of New York. The Visiting Nurse Service of New York (VNSNY) is the largest not for profit home and community based health care organization in the United States, serving the five boroughs of New York City, Nassau, Suffolk, and Westchester Counties, and parts of upstate New York. In this role, Michael has primary responsibility for working with the business leadership team to ensure strategic alignment of IT investments with business strategy and initiatives. Michael provides vision and leadership for the planning and implementation of enterprise IT systems to improve service quality for patients and members, enable business growth opportunities, improve compliance and support business efficiency initiatives. Michael oversees IT application services, integration services, business partnership functions for all lines of business, program management of large-scale IT implementations, project governance, finance, budgeting, procurement and IT compliance. Prior to VNSNY, Michael was a management consultant with IBM and PricewaterhouseCoopers, where he led major IT engagements for Fortune 500 clients.
